Buyer guide

What you are actually buying with instant funding

The hurdle moves, it does not disappear

A standard evaluation makes you prove yourself before the firm risks a payout. Instant funding removes that gate and puts the test after the money instead: tighter drawdowns, lower profit splits at the start, longer waits before a first withdrawal, or a consistency rule applied to that first payout. The screening still happens. It happens on the way out rather than on the way in.

That is not a criticism of the model. It is the trade you are making, and it means the comparison that matters is not price against price but price against the payout terms attached.

Instant funding costs more up front for less room

These accounts are usually the most expensive entry a firm sells, because the firm is handing over a funded account with no filtering revenue behind it. Check the drawdown model first: an instant account on an intraday trailing drawdown gives you materially less room than an evaluation account on a static one, and the price gap rarely reflects that.

Read the first-payout minimum and the minimum days to payout alongside the price. On several firms the fastest route to a withdrawal is still an evaluation account.

How this list is built

FirmFax classifies an account as instant funding only when the firm's own product name or description says so, in phrases like "Instant Funded", "Direct Funding", "Straight to Funded" or "no evaluation". Where a firm does not label the product, the account is left off rather than guessed at, so the absence of a firm here is not a claim that it has no instant path.

How to use this list

Compare first, then review current terms.

These pages are filters, not blanket recommendations. Open the firm review, compare the exact account type, then check current terms through the offer link.

What is an instant funding prop firm?

One that sells a funded account directly, with no evaluation phase to pass first. You start trading firm capital immediately, under the account's drawdown and payout rules.

Is instant funding worth it compared with an evaluation?

It depends on which hurdle suits you. Instant funding costs more and usually carries tighter drawdown or payout terms; an evaluation costs less but you have to pass it. Compare the drawdown model and first-payout terms, not just the entry price.

Do instant funding accounts still have rules?

Yes, and often stricter ones. Maximum and trailing drawdowns, daily loss limits, consistency rules on the first payout, and minimum days before withdrawal all still apply.

Why is a firm I know offers instant funding missing from this list?

Accounts are only included when the firm labels the product as instant, direct or no-evaluation itself. If a firm sells one without saying so in the product name or description, it is left out rather than assumed.
