Buyer guide
The 50K account is the most popular futures size because it balances buying power against breach risk, which is why firms compete hardest on its price. This page sorts by published starting price so the cheapest entries surface first, while the account score keeps rule quality visible.
A low 50K price often comes with a tighter drawdown, a lower daily loss limit, or a consistency rule that makes payouts harder. Read the drawdown column first: an end-of-day or static drawdown on a $60 account is usually worth more than a $40 account on an intraday trail.
Add the likely reset fees and any activation fee to the evaluation price before calling one account "cheapest." A plan you pass on the first try at $60 beats a $40 plan you reset twice. Use the review page to check reset cost and payout timing before choosing.
How to use this list
These pages are filters, not blanket recommendations. Open the firm review, compare the exact account type, then check current terms through the offer link.
FirmFax lists the published starting price for a plan. Use this as an initial ranking, then review the exact 50K route on the firm page.
A budget page should start with price, and the account score keeps rule quality visible next to the discount.
It is the sweet spot for most futures traders — enough buying power to trade several contracts while keeping the evaluation price and drawdown manageable. That popularity is exactly why firms discount it most aggressively.
Start with the rules, then use price to break ties between comparable plans. Factor in reset fees, activation fees, and the drawdown model.
