Rule-flexibility guide

Prop firms with no minimum trading days

What a minimum trading day rule costs you

The rule sets a floor on time, not on profit

A minimum trading day requirement says you must place trades on at least a set number of separate days before the evaluation can pass, commonly three to ten. Hitting the profit target on day one does not end it — you keep trading, and every extra day is another chance to breach a drawdown you had already cleared. The rule converts a finished evaluation into an ongoing risk.

Accounts on this page publish a minimum of zero, so the evaluation ends when the target is met.

Watch the definition of a trading day

Firms count days differently. Some require any filled trade, some require a position held for a minimum duration, and some require a minimum profit or volume on the day for it to count. A rule that reads as three days can quietly demand three genuinely traded sessions rather than three token clicks, and firms have voided passes over exactly this.

The funded stage often has its own minimum

A zero minimum on the evaluation does not mean a zero minimum on the payout. Many firms that let you pass in a day still require a set number of active days before the first withdrawal request. If speed to a payout is the goal rather than speed to a pass, read the payout terms alongside this filter.

What is a minimum trading day rule?

A requirement to trade on a set number of separate days before an evaluation can pass, regardless of when you hit the profit target. It is typically between three and ten days.

Can I pass an evaluation in one day?

On the accounts listed here the published minimum is zero, so the evaluation ends when the profit target is met. Whether that is wise is a separate question — a one-day pass usually means concentrated risk.

Does no minimum trading days mean a faster payout?

Not necessarily. Firms often apply a separate minimum active-day requirement at the funded stage before the first withdrawal. Check the payout terms as well as the evaluation rules.

What counts as a trading day?

It varies. Some firms count any filled trade, others require a minimum hold time, volume, or profit on the day. The definition sits in the firm's own rules and is worth reading before relying on a fast pass.
